We will be featuring electronic bidding this year for auction items. All bidding will be done through your cell phone or computer! You can bid from anywhere, anytime before the close of the auction, from your own device. You even get an update if you are outbid!

Ways to bid:
Click the link in your registration text. It will take you to a personal bidding page. Click on an item and place a bid, it’s that simple.
Text the 3-digit item number and amount to the welcome message you receive, (i.e. 101, 500), no dollar signs or decimals are needed.

SILENT AUCTION MOBILE BIDDING RULES
Auction ends at 9:00pm HARD STOP. It will not be extended for any reason. Please be aware of this rule and watch your auction item closely. If it appears you are in a bidding war, you must assume the last bid will be placed at 8:59pm. Plan accordingly and note that TASTE is not responsible for other's bidding practices.
Items will be available for pickup at the end of the evening at the Information Booth located near the Festival entrance after 9:15pm.
Persons bidding on an item must utilize the mobile bidding platform GiveSmart by texting tastelb to 52182, or by visiting https://tastelb.givesmart.com on your computer/tablet device
Each new bid must exceed the prior bid by the noted increment amount, as indicated on your device
Winners will be sent a Payment/Pick-up Text message to guests to secure payments and pick-up. This text includes a payment link to the user's statement and enables users to pay directly from their Smartphones. Pick up will be located at the event venue on the way out.
All items must be paid in full at the close of auction or a payment option MUST be made with TASTE OF LAGUNA Staff before you will receive the item.
All items must be used in the time frames specified or by 10/3/2020. Unless otherwise noted, all items are transferable to any other person. All gift certificates expire as noted.
Packaged items may be used on separate occasion, where applicable, unless otherwise noted.
All experiences and items undertaken and/or used are at the sole risk of the purchaser. Purchaser agrees that TASTE OF LAGUNA shall not be held liable in any way for loss, injury or damage to any persons or property, irrespective of the cause.
The Taste of Laguna has endeavored to catalogue and describe all items correctly. All property is sold “as is” and TASTE OF LAGUNA neither warrants nor represents and shall in no event be responsible for the accuracy of the description, genuineness, authorship, or condition of any of the auction items.
ABSOLUTELY No refunds will be given.
Can you pay with check?
YES. Other forms of payment MAY be collected at the discretion of the TASTE OF LAGUNA staff.
Auction Item Taxes & Fees
The Taste of Laguna Organization will not tax on any items for bid.
If you've decided to support the organization by purchasing raffle tickets, make a donation or other non-auction items, you can choose to pay credit card transaction fees. Upon checking out you will see the option to pay the fees. Once you click on 'Pay', complete your payment and choose to either include or exclude the fees. By paying the transaction fee, you ensure more money goes to the organizations you are supporting and their missions.
An effective rate of 4.112% will apply for all credit card purchases to cover the cost associated with the purchase and processing fees. We thank you for the extra support!
