ABOUT CHEF AZMIN GHAHREMAN
Azmin Ghahreman is a notable local Southern California chef with worldwide contacts in this industry. He is CEO of Sapphire Culinary Group, an umbrella organization for his varied operations, and a vibrant, on-trend restaurateur (Sapphire Laguna), caterer (Sapphire Catering), gourmet specialty shop owner (Sapphire Pantry), top-level school lunch provider (Sapphire at School), and customized corporate dining director (Sapphire at Work). Most recently, his passion for advancing the quality of food has lead him to develop his own line of global spices (DELLAH). He is the former Executive Chef of the St. Regis Monarch Beach and of various Four Seasons & Regent Hotels worldwide.
In 2007, Chef Azmin opened his restaurant, Sapphire Laguna, and the adjacent Sapphire Pantry, to share foods and ingredients inspired by cultures from around the world. Since the beginning, the restaurant and shop have been embraced by the Southern California community and visitors alike. The seasonally evolving menu, featuring globally inspired cuisine, incorporates the freshest ingredients available, many of which are sourced from local farms, specialty markets, and artisan suppliers. He is actively involved with local efforts to educate children about healthy and sustainable foods.
